|Brainworks Scholarship Workshops for Essay Writing

The Brainworks Scholarship Workshops are for those students sitting a year 6 scholarship exam in 2023 for year 7 entry in 2024. The workshops separately cover creative essay writing and persuasive essay writing. The face to face writing workshops at Brainworks help your child grasp higher level skills for effective exam essay performance. Planning, execution and review of structure and content are covered in detail.

Writing workshops are run by specialist teachers who use unique and effective teaching materials and approaches to raise students interests and passion for writing. The workshop helps students to improve their skills and to activate their creative thinking power and writing talents. Students will work through various styles for developing high-level essays for different exam formats.

The creative writing workshop includes planning and tone, introduction and conclusion, building scenes and paragraphs and writing techniques.

The persuasive writing workshop includes planning, ideas and style, thesis statements and topic sentences, body paragraphs, introduction, conclusion and rebuttal.

The Scholarship Workshops for essay development and writing will be held at Burwood East and Balwyn during the January school holidays and bookings are essential.
